Well nothing much to say, spent the evening painting the ceiling at friends new house.
Not so fun riding my bike to work, with winter approaching and all, getting to be cold and wet. But work is OK, start course on Monday and looking forward to it.
How about this, iTunes store shutdown feared as they want to have a 66% increase in royalties! Here is the BBC news story: http://tinyurl.com/45not4
How about this, strapping a wing to your back, add a couple of jet engines, jump put a plane, and the fly! Well that’s what Yves Rossy did, and crossed the channel at the same time, doing the 22 mile Calais to Dover trip in 10 minutes.
When I first saw him, thought he looked just like ‘Master Chief’ from Halo, did also hear Buzlightyear get mentioned too. After seeing the video, I must say my first though was ‘I want one of those!’

With the advancement in technology and such, have you ever wondered when you’ll have to start buying toys for your robo-pets? The latest one I’ve seen s Pleo, the pet dinosaur. Not that any of these are that cheap but here are a couple of different ones out there
Well cern is back on the news, this time because of a mechanical fault. To get the magnets strong enough to change the path of protons they have to be turned into superconductors, this is done by making them very cold, -271C in fact. But due to a suspected fault one of the magnets got hot, and caused the helium that makes them cold leak.
The engineers at cren said they would need to look inside the sector to determine what went wrong, but it needs to be ‘warmed’ up first, and it would take a week!
Whats going on? Here’s a few thoughts that are floating around out there:
Does not seam that fair, don’t give the penalty till the end after he won! Ferarri almost cause a crash in the pit lane, oh slap on the wrist and a little fine. Then coming up with some randomness about how it can not be overturned as it was a drive by penalty! Face it, Hamilton is the best.
I’m still here, been working hard playing less! Had the joys of a blast from the past yesterday, with cabeling up an office, has be a few years since I have been doing that.
Heard this the other day, did make me smile,
“It is not worth taking life too seriously, as we lose in the end!”
How about this, a computer on the LHC network was hacked and a message added to thier web site. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7616622.stm)
How about this as a new pet trend, Possum’s! Yes, Possum’s. Much to the disgrace to the RSPCA, people are getting these little creatures to watch them fly around their front room. The possum of choice is the ’sugar glider’ (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_gliders), which is 16-21cm long.
There are comments from either side, as usual. Some saying that it’s not fair keeping them out of their natural environment, while others saying they make good pet because for their active and inquisitive nature.
But they don’t seam cheap at £175 for a possum!
Well for those of you who like F1, what an interesting weekend. With Hamilton starting in 15th and flying up to 7th by the finish, leaving him just one point clear of Massa in the drivers championship table. Vettel also claiming his first victory, and the first for the Toro Rosso team.
Next: the night race in Singapore!
